Founded in 2014, the Centre for Writing and Communication (CWC) is as old as Ashoka University. CWC works closely with the academic community at Ashoka University and beyond to develop critical thinking, writing, and communication skills. This is made possible by the diversity of the CWC team, a vibrant group of scholars, professionals, writers and researchers whose combined expertise actively contributes to the interdisciplinary engagement at Ashoka and beyond.
Every year, CWC holds its online Summer School programme, which includes a variety of workshops, such as Research Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Translation in the Classroom, as well as other niche academic and creative writing topics. These Schools are open to all, based on the eligibility criteria of the individual programmes.
