The Ashoka Young Scholars Programme (YSP) Learning Sprint is a certified 3-day intensive, experiential summer programme designed for focused and driven high school students entering grades 9-12. The programme brings together world-class faculty and industry experts to create an experiential learning programme in your city. Each YSP Learning Sprint is anchored by a sharply defined topic, offering students a glimpse into the depth and rigour of university-level learning. This programme is for learners who are deeply invested in the topic being offered in their city. Through a selective application process, the programme creates a cohort of learners with shared academic interests from across schools in your city, creating opportunities for meaningful and fun peer engagement.

Chennai: May 28 - May 30, 2026*

Kolkata: June 4 - June 6, 2026*

Eligibility Criteria

  1. High school students from throughout India and across the world are eligible to apply.
  2. Students entering class 9, 10, 11, or 12 while they are attending the programme, i.e. in May 2026, are eligible to apply.
  3. Students who have appeared for the Class 12th board exams before YSP begins are also eligible to apply.
  4. Students should be comfortable with written & spoken English, which is the medium of instruction for the programme.

Gather Required Documents
Keep clearly scanned copies of your mark sheets from the last two academic years and certificates or documents that verify your co-curricular achievements. You will need these for the online form, so it is helpful to have them ready in advance.

Prepare for Payment
Ensure you have the necessary details handy for the online application fee payment. The non-refundable application fee is INR 1,000/-.

Click on New registration to register for YSP Learning Sprint 2026, select the city and programme, and fill in your personal details.

Verify Your Email
Open your registered email, verify your account, and log in to the application portal.

Complete Your Application
Fill in your personal and academic details, and upload your supporting documents (marksheets, certificates, etc.).

Application Review
Your application will be reviewed by the YSP Learning Sprint Applications Committee, and an update will be shared within 2 weeks.

Pay the Application Fee
Pay the registration fee of Rs. 1000/- online (non - refundable).
